Im a temporary worker, my work permit expires Nov. 30th 2018. So my TRV also expires on the 30th of November. If I apply to extend my stay as a visitor, will I be able to get a multiple entry visitor visa? I would like to go on a trip to the United States (I have a 10 year visitor visa for there) with my girlfriend, our child and her family. They planning to go Nov 22nd to Dec. 1st. I can also get my new work permit issued before we leave but will not have time to apply for a new TRV. Will they let me back in Canada with a valid work permit without the TRV?
