MS in Canada

I want to do MS in computer science in Canada , right now i am pursuing B.Tech in IT in india ,
So as a IT student can I get MS in computer science ?

We have 8th semester as a industrial training , So if I do it in any Research Institute then will it help me anyway for getting admission in good University or it will not effect whether i do it in Any national research Institute or any company ...

Hi Karim,

As I understand, MS in India and Pakistan is equivalent to M.Phil. Now, you can get admission into MSc in computer science with a four years IT degree however you will only be promoted to M.Phil at your the discresion of university faculty once you've fulfilled certain academic requirements.

16 years of education for Master program and 18 years for entry into PhD.
