it seems the processing time is longer than 3 months now. Does anyone hear about the new added payment of 500$ policy? or anyone already pay that money? Is there news or any effect they really accelerate the processing timeline?
My friend just got his nomination on May 2 after 6 months of waiting. It took only 2 days from "Received" to "Assessment in Progress" to "Assessment Complete"
Anyways, my friend's work permit doesn't expire until 2019.

Don't worry pal, People from draw 18 are still waiting as well.
I currently work in Winnipeg and applying for MPNP. I have a problem about working experience that I am afraid that they will reject my application.
I had worked 2.5 years in Japan. Of these, 2 years I had fellowship from Japan government (I didnot have to pay income tax and the award letter did not indicate it is a full-time job). Therefore, when I submit the EOI, to answer the question " How many years of full-time work experience do you have in the past 5 years?" I answer "< 1 year" because I am afraid that the 2 years fellowship is not counted as full-time job. However, when I submit the application, there is a question "Number of years you have worked in your intended occupation in the past five years", I choose "2 years" because there is no "full-time" in the question.
First I think it is OK because I only got point for < 1 year. If they consider my 2 year fellowship is a full-time job, my point even increase. However, it is not consistent because I answered that I have worked 2 years in my intended occupation in the past five years.
Do you have any suggestion? should I withdraw my application and submit a new one. I have waited 4 months and am afraid that if they rejected, I have to submit a new application.
I applied my eoi overseas in october 2016 and its more than 6 months and I have't got any response yet, I only got the confirmation email not even the file number. Is it normal?
