Our Family Stream application submitted 09 March 2012 in Winnipeg by my sponsor (first cousin).....shall we expect AOR by mid-July of this year?....

HI everyone,

I have an inquiry regarding proof of funds. The required minimum proof of funds is 10K CAD, if we do not have sufficient cash on our bank accounts would a house title be suffice? We bought our house for 5m php we are still paying for the mortgages but we are holding the title. Do we still declare our monthly mortgage as well?

@abercombrie - thanks, we will just wait & hoping that the result will be same with my sister & family who are now in Winnipeg....they applied Dec. 2010 - - received AOR April 2011 - - received LOA Sept. 2011 - - moved to Winnipeg last Feb.

If you could have submitted your application online you could get AOR next day or same day and could get the LOA in 20 or maximum 30 working days after the date of submission yours application to winnipeg so Anyways now nothing to do just wait patiently and keep praying dear best of luck to you.

Yes, land titles, house ownership under your name will do, you need to look for an authorized appraiser to document the current market value of the properties and it needs to be attested by the lawyer. You have to add the values, if it corresponds to what they required (CA$ 10K) then there will be no problem but, still you must have a bank account. Regards.

Thanks ADG256...i do have a bank account under my name but i didnt have enough savings to cover the 10k CAD requirements. You information is very helpful.

Please i wish to know what happens if my sponsor travels out of canada for a six month with his company. WHat if they cannot contact him on his phone for sponsors interview, will my application be rejected or do they send emails??

in canada they have phone ethics to follow....voice message will be left esp if its from a certain legal /government office which is needed an attention...for sure they will ask for a call back or so?...no one could bluff over the phone coz in canada all fone got caller id...no need to worry abouth that...

I have lodged my application under MPNP Program(General Category). I have submitted my application on 28th march, 2012. I still have not received my AOR. Can anybody tell me when can i expect my AOR or is their any contact point where i can enquire about my application?
