Why would you apply in July or august.
Did you cleared any exam. Or you are on your way.
If you are supposed to be in. Just mention your continuing education and a brief note will elaborate your current situation to case officer at MPNP.
Anyhow its up to when you think yourself fit for for MPNP.

Did you apply from inside of Canada or which country are you from ?

Seems like your application is moving fast if it is already "assesment Pending"

My CIC contact did inform me that they are trying to complete all in process applications by the end of the year, so good news to those who are still waiting and whose apps have been opened and started to process! Hopefully that is true for everyone

Two things. I am already in Winnipeg on a Study permit and I am currently waiting for my upfront Criminal Background Check Certificate. The moment I get that I will apply for CIC. Perhaps towards the end of this month.. God's willing..

Hiiiii frnds,

Am Feb 2014 applicant. My status changed to Information required. As i didnt receive any mail or call i mailed them and they reply they needed updated IELTS.
Now problem is my IELTS test date is 7 FEB 2015. Just tell me if can ask them for any grace period.

Hi Druce, my status changed from received to pending only yesterday, Dec. 09. We applied outside Canada and my husband is the primary applicant under General Stream, we're from Philippines.

Yes, we didn't expect it also that our status will change for less than 5 months only. But we're grateful on that, it seems that MPNP is now processing all 2014 applications.
