I application status changed to "Assessment Pending" 1 week ago, 25 May 2015. I applied from outside of canada.

Can anyone pls tell me, give me a rough idea on how many more months will it need to get the VISA?


(and Is VISA = LOA)


And where can i get updated mpnp timeline?

Hi Tuhin_Ashraf,

LOA is only letter of approval (means u r eligible for Manitoba). For getting visa u need to apply one more file to CIC. I think ur hole process is approx 2 years.

Hi everyone,
I've been trying to post on this thread but somehow I wasn't able to because of the restrictions. Anyway, I just want to ask a couple of questions. First, when I was checking MPNP Online earlier, there was a message that says that there were some changes made and I need to hit YES or NO to save them or not, the thing is, I made the changes on my phone number last week and I didn't see that message during the times that I checked my status after making the changes. I also read in this thread before that the reason I was seeing that message is because the review officer was checking out my application. Is it safe to assume that I might see some changes in my status SOON???? I applied back in July 2014 but my status is still Received. As I've seen the posts of other applicants, I believed that most of May and June 2014 applicants already have a change in status. Can we say that July 2014 applicants will be hopefully processed this month or the next?
Second, can anyone please give me an example of an Expression of Interest Letter? I am actually helping ome of my cousins to apply.

Please do help me with my questions. I really can't rely on anyone else since we don't get much update from MPNP. Thank u so much in advance. God bless us all. ​

Already it took my 1 year just to get "assessment Pending".

So frnds pls tell me After assessment pending what are the process are waiting to be done? and estimated time will it take?

Hello Tuhin,
Time frame varies from country to country. Yes MPNP is taking longer than expected time. At this point it may take up to 6 months before your supporter is called for interview and if everything goes well you will get LOA. Once you receive LOA then you have to apply to CIC ( citizenship and immigration Canada) for permanent residency which is your visa for entry to Canada. This process might take about 2-3 years again depending on the country you applied. So in simple you should expect at the minimum 3 years plus to complete entire process before you can come to Manitoba. I hope it helps.

I received the MR on Dec 2014, at that time my wife was pregnant, I notified the VO and they postponed my case till now.
Now we expect to deliver the baby these days but I dont know if first do I have to do the Medicals for me and my family or I will have firstly to prepare the papers for baby and then to do the MEDS for the whole family. ??

I appreciate any suggestions... from someone who had the same situation.

in advance congratulations for the baby, did visa office notify you that your case is on hold or pending until the delivery?? because Xray is the only problem in pregnancy??
