Hey guys, exciting news, I received my LOA a few minutes ago, so I'm happy and worried because there is a NOTE inside of email from MPNP:
"Congratulations! Please see attached letter.
NOTE:
Citizenship and Immigration Canada does not accept language test results (IELTS) that are more than two years old. Please ensure you include valid test results in your application for permanent residence. "
I'm under NOC A and now I'm confused if I need to send another test or not, my test will expire in 14th november anyway.

I just realised you can call MPNP office and check with them cos CIC did not request a new submission. They just made you aware of that policy. But it seems not all applicants received that extra special message with their letter. On the CIC website check their notes particularly mentioning NOC + IELTS as well.
I wish I also had the answer cos as I said mine has already expired in July.

I enquired MPNP about the IELTS note in email and they answered with this:
Hi,
If your NOC fall under A from the time you submit your application to CIC and during the entire period that your application is with them; then, you are not required to submit a language test result as per the checklist. You must submit one if your NOC has changed to C or D or if they requested for one.
But it is so ridiculous that the test was valid for 2 whole years and just collected dust, and now becomes invalid
I am going to register for my tests as well.
Don't want to lose more time waiting to write.

I'm confused now, as I understood it is not necessary send IELTS again if you are under NOC 0, A or B, except if your NOC be changed during CIC stage or if CIC request it again.
