Finally Sponsor Interview was done.. Long 18 months wait.. Now hoping for a positive news..Hopefully in Feb will get good news.

Hi yes, I am a General Stream Applicant. Applied in April 2012 & got AOR in August 2012..

Friends i need your help here!!

I applied for MPNP in Dec 2012 (02.12.2012). Got my LOA 23.06.2013. My application was transferred to NEW DELHI on 18.01.2014 (I got an e-mail from them).
My ecas status says APPLICATION RECEIVED on 04.11.2013.

How much more time till i get a call for Medical & finally PR?

I called MPNP to check if a decision has been made & if they have posted the letter. but they told me that the Application is still being assessed. What I read in this forum was that Sponsor Interview is the last thing & after that a decision is made...

Can anyone plz help me understand the process??

They will send you a POSTAL RESPONSE regarding your application. So, therefore, it will take 4-8 weeks (depending on country) for you to receive the result letter.

They will not confirm to you the result. Some people receive a response that states: We have made a decision and we have posted them to you on (date given). But they will not tell you their decision via email or phone.

Have patience, the process for CIC will take more patience than LOA. A sponsor's interview is a good sign and if your sponsor told you that things went pretty well during the interview, then that's also a positive sign.
