hi Olanzky! I just want to ask why you are applying under general stream if your sponsors are your close relative? why not apply under family stream(i think this is more fast processing than general stream? i'm just confuse hope you can clarify my query thanks!
i applied for General Stream because my sister just got her permanency last august 2011. requirement for family stream is 1 year permanent resident.
She was advised by her immigration lawyer that I should just apply for general stream.... hope it works....
Hello Gat. Well, as at today the checklist of documents to be submittted to Nova Scotia for provincial nominees has nothing to do with spouse educational and employment information.
Nevertheless, it could be requested at a future date by the visa office but it is not mandatory. Best regards.
yes,you need to submit files related to your spouse for background check and evaluation...
validate your documents with the checklist from the stream you are under to make sure you completed all required documents to avoid delays...
Hi. According to the checklist version Jan 2012, applicants are not required to submit education and employment documents (including that of the spouse), as compared to the checklist released on Dec 2011. It is also mentioned in the checklist that applicants should not include documents not mentioned in the checklist. The latest checklist always has precedence over the previous one. A lot of forum members followed the instructions on the latest checklist. Hope this helps.
Yeah It really helps and i also want to know i was in Australia from July 2009 to October 2010 and as per checklist and my consultant said you need a Police clearance certificate from Australia as well after 2010 October i have not being there and i got a PCC from there in July 2011 and according to embassy rules pcc is only valid for 3 months is thr anyone know will they consider my old pcc bcoz i have not being to Australia after 2010. thanks for help my friends
Just follow the instructions on the checklist. Just write the info on Schedule A background dec to your spouse. No need to send the actual transcript of records they already forwarded it to CIC when you received your LOA.
