I have a question. Dose it make sense to complete medical upfront? What is on average waiting time (duration) for the CIC period ?

One week by the end of june. Im IT business analyst. This program is specific to the francophone people only. You must send them an application with many documents relative to your age, profession, academic journey, proof of funds. After that, the government give you the OK (or not) to visit them. At the end of the journey, you meet an agent in an interview where you explain your motivation to immigrate in Manitoba.
If it's ok for them, they give you the OK to send an EOI and gain 500 more points on your EOI score.

Next day, application received
06-07-2015 - Assessment Pending until now.
I am oversees and have both a job offer and a close relative in Manitoba.
I see some of the members on this forum who sent their applications 3 weeks before mine have already received their LOA.
Please advise me on a way forward. The waiting is agonising.
I have already applied in mpnp general stream and waiting for LOA since july 2014 .My status is "PENDING ASSESSMENT" from long time.Now This wait is disgusting.
so, please guide me that can I and should i apply for EOI?

I can feel that your status will change to assessment in process very soon... just persevere and pray... I understand how agonizing it is to be waiting as I am also in the same situation just in different category though but as Ive said, we are in the same game... the waiting game... just think on the positive side... since you applied with "a job offer" then you can be assured as you can see in our timelines that you will receive the nomination ahead from us (without job offer).

preet s, try to email the MPNP. Im sure once you receive their reply you will be relieved.
And don't forget about the fact that some July 2014 (and even earlier) applicants are still waiting for their LOAs like you, though some already received theirs but its just a matter of time... meanwhile, just pary and persevere!
I don't think submitting an EOI is a good idea... it will just prolong the process for you because with your present status, you are already in the middle of something whereas if you apply again, you will go back to step 1.
