Hello everybody

I made a big research about this topic, and I saw too many different views and opinions.

I applied for Permanent Resident under the Manitoba PNP in 2009 and got the PR and landed in the beginning of 2011.
I spoke to the MPNP office any they told me that I can't move, that I must stay in Manitoba, otherwise its under my responsibility and the PR can be cancelled or I will not be able to get a citizenship. Even after I will become a citizen I'm not allowed to move, that's what I was told by the office.

I know people that moved from one province to another, but their immigration was under Federal Skilled Worker program, and not Provincial Nominee.

When i applied 5 years ago I totally intended to live and settle in Manitoba. But today, 3 years after the landing, as it happens in life, things can change and suddenly your plans are changing...

I will be thankful for any information.
Thank you and have a great day anyone!

The part I dont get when I read other posts is, once you have PR you have the same rights are a Canadian and they are allowed to move where ever they like. I would have thought once you have PR you are no longer bound by PNP.

Once my work mate gets back into work I'll ask and he got PR with marrying a Canadian and lived in the interior and now lives in BC.

This isn't a problem for my self as I want to live in BC.
