Hi All, I have a question about the PR residency requirement -

I did a soft landing in Late November 2018, and I did not enter in Canada from US afterwards.

My PR card date shows a landing date of Nov 28, 2018.

I understand that in order to renew my PR card, I have to satisfy the living requirements by staying 2 years out of 5 in Canada.

However recently, I plan to move to Canada around late October, 2021.

My question is - will I satisfy the date requirements in Canada to continue my PR residence if I move in late October, 2021.

Thanks a lot!!!

Yes, as long as you remain in Canada pretty much for 2 years straight after you return.
