I got an email from IRCC Agent asking for current residential address today from Montreal Office.

FSW (O) - US Resident - AOR Sep 21, 2020

I received the same email. I can't tell if it is a scam or not. I am also FSW(O)- US resident Montreal VO. My application number was quoted. The agent ID used is a number I had seen on this forum before. I simply googled the agent ID and it showed up on canadavisa like I suspected. I wonder if anyone else got this seemingly sketchy email.

they may be asking because they are issuing COPR to people already in Canada

in case of visa refusals in the past it is very common for analysts to mark an application as review required. Nothing to worry about.

I received the same email and I had the same suspicion.. I spoke to the IRCC agent and they told me that there is a note on my case requesting the current residential address. Later I replied via email with the requested information.

Got my PPR today in my account

Here is my timeline

AOR 2020 March 19th
Medical 17th 2020
they requested me chest X-ray on April 15th 2020 since I had history of TB
I had my sputum test and re-X-ray test done on June 19th 2020(since I had to wait 3 months to get it done)
Medical passed on July 15th 2020
Biometrics given on 27th July 2020
My six month period ended in September so I requested my GCMS notes on October and got it on November.
I found out my application was under Review required and they gave me 0 points under foreign employment without mentioning any reason.
I submitted my employment offer letter, updated reference letter without them asking just to be on safe side in November.
I used to call IRCC every once a month after that if my eligibility is passed, but every time they used to say they sent my docs to concerned visa office and no change in my application.
After a long wait I got my RPRF request on March 31st 2021. I paid it on same day.
And today I got my PPR letter in my Account (April 6th 2021).
