For those who sent their passports for stamping, here is what I found out today:
I sent my passport on the 13th and they "received" it on the 14th of Feb.
The Call Center agent said they received it on the 21st, which is a week later. I asked how come because it was signed for on the 14th. She said it goes to their mail room first. So it sat in their mail room for a whole week. (Whoever is in charge of their mail collection needs to be appraised)
I should not be expecting it anytime soon I guess, since it was recorded to be received on the 21st as opposed to the 14th
It seems so. I am confused as to why it would just sit in the mail room.for a whole week. But hey, obviously an internal process problem.
So that it was received and signed for on a particular date as shown in your Fedex tracking does not mean it was indeed "received" by the right department on that day. It may just be sitting in their mail room for all they care.
An inland applicant with AOR August 16th just announced on WA group that he received PPR request for his spouse. He is now waiting for the landing interview mail

This week has been kinda quiet. Montreal what is happening? Lets see what the rest of the week brings. Hopefully more PPRs are dished out for the rest of the July folks waiting
I think I have a problem with sending you a private message (Like starting a conversation with you as the system sees it as spam. Any help or advise on workaround ?
