Agree not only joy but some motivation as well in terms of getting ready to look for a job and other struggles. It sucks energy out of us for sure. But life is not a cake walk, we just have to get stronger and leave the past. We maybe unhappy with Montreal but its quite possible they have a huge backlog and not enough manpower..hopefully government has provided them enough funds to hire more if that is the case.

Haha, thanks. That was exactly my plan. Although I was thinking to order gcms notes when I hit the 4 months mark. Your suggestion is 5 months. The way Montreal office works there probably isn't much difference and 5 months from AOR sounds about right.

On the upside, with this suspicion confirmed,I can probably focus on other things in life and not go online to check my profile thrice a day.

I have always suspected that the date file is transferred to Montreal matters. Somehow they seem to consider that as the base date for file processing.

This theory may be right...
But I found something interesting..
So my file was transfered to Montreal on the 9th of September which was two weeks after Mavericks was transfered
Elligibility was done on the 25th of September which is a month and some days before mavericks elligibility was done
So may be file transfer date truly matters.
If I get PPR in 2/3 weeks then maybe it truly matters

Ofcourse. Mine is valid till end third week of June. Last i heard , they are issuing ppr even if two months are left on medical, but that may not be true. Yes that is a good observation. Criminality and security shouldn't take much time

Just seeing this. How are you doing? Its going okay but nothing yet from Montreal. At this rate, they are still dealing with July 2nd and 3rd week. AOR is July 24th. So looking more like February. I was told by the call center agent not to call before February 25th. So lets see how the weeks before then go.

Mine was transferred on the same day as @Mavericks i.e. 23rd August and our AOR is same. Though i am still waiting.
I guess another thing to consider here is no of applicants as Mavericks is a single applicant and we are three. Additionaly, I received ITA on 25th June where as Mavericks got on 13th i guess. we can discard the ITA date logic as it should not have any impact. Though that number of applicants theory should be a factor with these Montreal guys as seems they preferred to process smaller file\case first.
