One year is a little scary! What is review for stat? I know it can be employment, POF or few other things but never understood stat. Most Montreal candidates seem to get their PPR request in 6 months, so kind of curious why so long for poor skesy87.
Exactly anything more than 6 months is too scary. Stat question is I guess the statutory question like have you had you any visa refusals in the past? I’ve seen many people at various visa offices with eligibility in review required (other than the stat questions) end up with a delay in more than 8 months.
I wish none of us would ever go with the eligibility in that stage.
Thanks. Since Montreal is very slow and they touch eligibility late , its no wonder the case approached a year. I think we have to be mentally prepared for this scenario at Montreal

We will know very soon depending on how June moves beyond 15 Nov. so in two weeks we will get a good idea whether they are now going beyond 6 month timeline.
@cansha Apologies could not reply earlier due to hectic work schedule. Got my second GCMS notes which showed my application is stuck under review required. Two reasons for review required - My spouse had earlier US student visa rejection, although got approved subsequently. Now spouse has multiple H1B's and approved I-140 in US, so personally should be immaterial. Second is w.r.t. requirement to provide detailed job responsibilities on company letterhead. Most top firms do not entertain such request and ask you to get the document notarized by your manager. Have shared the same input from my current/previous HR's to canada immigration. Now keeping fingers crossed.

Probably his application was put to SS (Security Screening). Just my guess!
Having said that, we still have some April folks active in the group that didn't get ppr yet. So over 6 months wait looks like a possibility

Most April folks waiting are FSW I candidates. I saw a few on March thread also awaiting. I didn’t think that its connected to the stream but it appears so and its weird. Whether it is true or not will become apparent when we start seeing movement in June guys. Nov 15 is my guess based on the previous trend. Lets hope for the best. I wish April guys wait also ends soon. Its so bad on CIC part to keep people waiting on their whims when their applications are simple and straightforward.

Hey thanks for replying. Yeah j don’t think visa refusal is a big issue. And there are many who have received ppr based on job duties written by managers. So lets hope they work on your file soon.

Hey thanks for replying. If I'm not wrong F1 is student visa? In any case there are many cases on this forum with US visa approval and they generally don't cause any problem. All the best!

Thats right, it was for a student visa, however I was approved for a tourist visa in 2012 and I'm on a student visa right now since 2014
Not sure whats the hold up for anyways
Hope they clear up the backlog soon for all of us !!!
Hey rohit .. welcome to the thread. Yeah it is not surprising that they haven't started eligibility yet. They have been erratic in that. My own eligibility was almost 2 months after AOR. So it is possible you see your eligibility status in your GCMS notes. Do come back and share your findings. Also, keep coming back to keep the thread alive.

I was under the impression that 'I' (Inland) and 'O' (Outland) don't matter much because the security tests in anyways won't take too long for most nationals. However, the stream might matter as CEC guys could easily get their eligibility tests cleared as IRCC, I assume, have an easy access to the Canadian employers. Having said that the eligibility is one of the longest tests of the application, CEC guys are likely to get the PPR sooner than their counterparts from any other stream.
However, looking at the recent trends for FSW-I, in general at any VO, seems disappointments for inland candidates. On immitracker I see 5 cases (out of 13 who got their PPR in the last two months) that took more than 200 days for them to get the PPR emails. Not sure is it just a coincident that suddenly we see many cases with >6 months for the FSW-I or there is a reason behind this.
Let's hope that we have good news in coming weeks for FSW-I guys at Montreal!
