Yea man, Hope it works out soon for all of us .if US implements merit based they will dock points for age, marriage and working in area other than what one did education is. So most don't realize how dire it will turn..
Notes generated 4 Sep. Summary is Eligibility is Recommended Passed (big relief!!) on 7 August. No one has looked at file since. At the time of notes Criminality and Security had not started.
Question for anyone familiar with GCMS notes. In the activities section I see the line
SUMMARY NOTES: CIO RECOMMENDATION FOR PA AND SPOUSE: PASS CRIMINALITY
Is this just a standard line because in the beginning of notes they have mentioned criminality has not started. Thanks!
This really got me thinking. My file has been in Montreal office since end of May. I received my GCMS notes in August and nothing was done about eligibility. Just seeing your AOR and that your eligibility has been worked on in July, it kinda complicates my thinking..........

I too received and went through my notes yesterday. I was in Montreal since beginning due to work load distribution, and my eligibility was recommend passed on July 9th. No one ever touched my file since then, but nothing negative either.
I think they just have a bigger backlog or slower people. Either way, they aren’t falling out of 6 months rule.

Their 6 month timeline for them starts from R10 check. So for example my R 10 check was done 3rd July. That gives them 3 additional weeks to my AOR date.
Anyways your and phaneeshwar’s eligibility was done quite fast by them. Mine was done only in August. Yours was one month before me!!
I hope it doesn’t mean that suddenly even analysts are busy there. Let’s wait for a few more notes and see.
Till now though we haven’t seen a case of someone getting PPR really quickly from Montreal. There are cases where people got it in 4 months but that was only till Feb/Mar. after that may be Quebec applications increased.

I have done research on that and I can tell you Canada is much much better. It feels bad when you see someone who applied 2/3 months after you receive PPR but I’m overall scheme of things Canada is much more streamlined and faster.
Having said that I know this information doesn’t help beyond a few hours. The anxiety lingers back.
Hello everyone, I am a fellow sufferer. My AOR is June 13, FSW-I. File has forever been in this center. Eligibility passed on July 26, no movement since. Criminality check In Progress, Security not even started
Is there a tracker/spreadsheet to maintain the status of all those whose files are in Montreal? Could someone share the link if there is one please?
