Hey Guys, I am thinking of sending an unsolicited ADR for my current teaching assistant job (TA) which was flagged for additional review. I clearly know that the job doesn't contribute anything to my CRS (I work less than 3 hrs a week and actually included the job in my EE profile just for completeness) but I just want to clarify things as the case analyst claimed he/she did not see the job description whereas it was there. Hence, I got an updated letter from my department's officer with detailed bullet points of my TA responsibility.
Am hoping it will help my file to be revisited (if it was jettisoned) and by God's grace, get an immediate approval!
What do you guys think?

I don't see any issues with this approach. My only suggestion would be to write a LOE and explain again that you didn't claim the points for the job and just included the experience for completeness sake.
I'm not at Montreal but this thread has been moving a lot recently so I will drop this question here:
I have requested two set of notes so far, but noticed that only the second set of notes delivered to me last week contains the group name and group number. What do these represent? It has been over 7 months since AOR.
The group number starts with 1-G..... and the group name says "Review Required for Proof of Funds" which is what I was expecting to see. I read somewhere that when an application shows this information is because it is close to be finalized, but I'm not so sure. To me it sounds more like what identifies the queue where the file is currently sitting.
I just went through my notes to answer your question. I think the group stuff are just system generated information which am not exactly sure what they represent. I don't think you should be worried about it as it doesn't have much to offer for your processing. This is just my opinion.....someone else might have a better information.
That 80% number has a condition. It's from the date of R10 check. If you read the September and October thread they are no longer doing MEP in 2 weeks. The time is now 3+ weeks. So they have already starting building buffer for their timelines. Also, not all 20% are from slow visa offices.
Here is a back of napkin kind of calculation. As per the CIC data in 2017 56% of applications were either from Canada or USA (Residence country). Let's say 80% of all these application end up in Ottawa ... that is ~44% applications. And this number is very close to the %age of PPR we see in <4 months. And, if you see most people who get PPR <4 months are from Ottawa.
So, at a very basic level Ottawa does bulk of the work in 4 months. But good thing is to meet 80% other visa offices have to chip in. And hence I think Montreal will have to process our application in 6 months ... albeit with 2 week buffer for R10 check.
So you will have your PPR at max by second week of December.

My case is similar to yours. I have around 4.5 years of outland experience and TA & RA (while pursuing PhD) experience in Canada for over 2 years. I suspected that I shouldn't declare that RA & TA as experience for CRS points thus I didn't mention those for the experience. But I explained those in my LOE with paystubs and contract letters. I hope it doesn't unnecessarily delay my eligibility tests.

I think you should be fine. Funny enough, my overseas work experience was enough according to the case analyst. Yet he/she still wants additional review. Am not sure if that is contributing to the delay.

Yes, I read the notes you shared. I think your primary NOC experience is 1 year and 8 months which changed your FSW work experience points and that is probably why the analyst raised the flag for a review. Is your RA from Canada too, if yes did you gain it with a work permit or study permit? For sure your RA and outland experience would have different NOCs and that may have cut down your 2 FSW experience points.
But you still meet the requirements and only that matters as far as passing the eligibility is concerned.

Actually, the case analyst did not flag the drop in FSW points (he/she just mentioned it). The additional review was where the analyst said that the TA job would not be counted as there was no job description and cannot be confirmed. The most surprising thing is that the job description was started in the letter. How he/she did not see it still marvels me up till now.
The TA is in Canada and its via study permit. Do you mean that different NOCs are not combined?
