Hi folks, I called on Monday and the agent told me my application was in Montreal and it was approved/ decision made...Any idea how long is the regular wait time for further instructions? It looks like Montreal processing time could be longer than the others...
And, do you guys have any idea of how do they decide on PPR or Landing interview? I am currently living in a Canadian city which has easy access to a landing office... Thanks guys!

There is no specific timeline for this. It could take hours, days or weeks. Be rest assured it will come. When was your AOR date? If what you have on your profile is the date, then your application being approved by Monday, is the fastest I have seen for Montreal VO. Congrats in advance!

Thank you my friend, that is my current timeline for sure. I just hope the agent didn't make a mistake and was looking at another person's profile lol... She checked all kinds of security questions before verifying my status with me after all.

Waoh! Then it’s for real! Congrats. Since you are Inland you will be contacted for a landing interview. Not sure of the recent timeline for this. Maybe other elders in the forum (Inland) would throw more light to this.

Not yet. Crossed the 6months timeline 11days ago. Still hopeful for it to come sooner. From past trends and observations, I should be getting it next month. But it seems yours has proven to be the outlier as compared to other Montreal VO applications.

Good luck my friend! Have you contacted them for details? I have been told it's taking a bit longer if your case is in Montreal...
Not sure what's with my case though ( I got the decision made message from both webform and over the phone, but still doubt a lot about if it's true lol) I'll contact them again if nothing happens after next weekend~
It is looking like you are in the critical period (almost 6 months since your transfer to Montreal). The general trend is PPRs typically come 5.5+ months after your file is transferred to Montreal.
YMMV
Hope so.. I called cic ..they said eligibility under review and security and criminality not started for any of the applicants. Medical passed. It is because of eligibility under review he said it is getting delayed and he cant do anything about it. I don't know what to understand from it. Should I be getting anxious now. In january , the agent said nothing started. It was weird to hear eligibility under review since my gcms said everything was met as of Feb 11.. So now i started feeling why did i call them now? Should i call again to know the status again or wait for couple of weeks to see whether my ppr comes as i saw oct 11th transfer date background check has started. I am freaking out.
Hello everyone... My CIC account was updated to "Approved" yesterday. Today I received my passport stamped together with my COPR
Thank you again for all the support offered through these forums.
To those who are still waiting: keep yourself updated and informed about the status of your application in every possible way, the best way is the gcms notes, be attentive to every detail , do your best and if in the end you couldn't relax..just remember to : stay strong.
