No I did not because when I posted it daily on the express entry facebook forums I got attacks, with people sending me messages asking if PR is my right blah blah blah. I have my official name and surname there. So I was advised not to continue with my name and surname as I cannot be sure of the repercussions.
If anyone has a "nickname" fb or Twitter account, they can post it using it

Hope that Montreal folks had a great break and reenergized themselves with a new year's resolution of clearing the files, with more than 6 months timelines, ASAP. With many of our June friends are still waiting, I doubt that my status bar would eventually change to 'Your application is taking longer than usual' after February 10.

We would know in the next week for sure. Today is almost over. Just 30 more minutes to go for their day to end. Don't think much happens on Friday. So let's see how the second week of Jan goes. That will set the tone for Jul and August

Agreed! It would definitely take some time for them to get to the pace where they were before and hopefully further accelerate from there. In the meantime, I may get my notes around January 13 and that would spotlight my case and fate

Does anyone know what happened to cases from Montreal where there was no COPR sent even after a month of sending the passport? Have those folks received passports now without any issue?

There was one on whatsapp group that sent his passport after ppr mail and they didnt send back his passport because they had to do another employment verification.(they called his HR and supervisor) I asked him a few days ago and he said he requested his passport back because he has an intl travel coming but has not heard back yet. Hopefully he gets the passport back with COPR

Hey @cansha what do you think about SS for folks in Montreal. Is it possible that after 6months of file being in Montreal either at RR or RP stage, it can still be sent for SS?
I can't imagine that after this 6 months or more of this horrendous wait files can still be sent for SS which takes about a year or more
