My wife got a fingerprint request. I scheduled an appointment from Commissionaires Quebec and it costs 85$. Did anyone have an experience with fingerprinting in Montreal? It looks more expensive than other cities' Commissionaires. Do they send the results directly to CIC?
oh shoot good luck! it is money and energy well spent, it will be ok at the end can i ask where are you from or if there is anything it could have trigerred their qa? (frequent travels, long term stay somewhere else, ...)
Selon mes derniers calculs / As per my last calculations @ Montréal :
Received --> In Process, count 37 days (+ or - 5 days for weekday/weekend).
In Process --> Letter for Test, count 37 days (with a + or -5 days for weekday/weekend).
Letter for Test --> Test, 99% of the time 2 weeks ahead or 14 days.
Test --> Decision made, 2-5 days.
Decision made --> Oath, anywhere between 42 and 57 days so far.
I got my AOR pretty late (one of those lost applications). Now that I do, i wonder:
1) Does AOR mean the application was nominally complete and all your docs are good?
2) When is it that you might get RQ (quality assurance, or FP) now or after IP??
by the way guys I am August applicant ( pre C6 ) ,, I did the exam on 02/07/2018 ,, and my statues moved to DM on 02/09/2018 ,, I am adding this as reference
hi nice thread,
my husband has the test invite and interview on Feb 16, this Friday, at 8:15. Crossing fingers we got two emails because the first was missing the hour of the test. We got the email maybe 2 weeks ago. I know people who had the email invitation less than 2 weeks before the test, so i recommend to start reading the book and have your originals ready
to answer other questions: so just email, no mail, ecas also got updated with this; the book we ordered it ourselves, it's free to get it but it takes a while
both me and my husband did fingerprint a while back; the fingerprints per say cost around 60$ but if you need them to stamp it and send them somewhere else it is more a little; i did them at a police station on laurier street.
thanks for sharing! we did short trips too, going on vacation, it shouldn't b red flag for them; it's ok as you see Montreal office is slow in general; even people with the test wait long after; you will get at the end! good luck
