Probably Milton falls under Mississauga processing office. How long did u have to wait after your application went in progress?

file was submitted in mid july 2019 in process oct 2019 no FP request and test invitation received today for March 13th

I submitted in Feb 2019. It went into 'in process' status in May 2019.

In my citizenship application, I put my home address as my mailing address. I got AOR on this 19th Feb. Now in ECAS, I see the mailing address is different. This address was during my PR application. What should I do now? Wait till the application goes in progress or inform them, then how? Thanks.

I had the same issue. I updated the address online and it is still reflecting the old address. They take up to 15 business days. Better to update it ASAP.

folks, I received ceremony invite 2nd time since I requested change in date when I initially received in November 2019.

Unfortunately today is the day to attend oath ceremony but I did not go because of severe seasonal cold and fever.

I just sent out an email to Mississauga office. Will they accept and invite me another time for oath since I missed 2 times?

Did you attached doctor's note in the Web Form?

Missing Oath Ceremony 2nd time is no good at all and your application can be refused

Call CIC today - Get doctor's note - do whatever you can. You need to act proactively and request them to grant you a new date

Received test invite but one confusing thing happened my address is from Milton, ON and test office is Mississauga ON can't understand why??? Anyone faced with the same issue??

Mate, just to be clear, Mississauga Office is one of the worst and unpredictable offices if your file is processing there. Expect delay to about more than 12 months, some are waiting for more than 18+ months, if ur lucky might be >12 months.. I say unpredictable because i have seen many people who applied many months after me and they have got their test invites.. I am still not sure how this office is working and cherrypicking the applicants. Same goes for Scarborough Office too.

Anyone got the test on Feb 29? The officer who interviewed us was not friendly at all and asked a lot of questions. In the end he said we passed the test but he would do some background check and that email would be sent to us for the next step.
Feeling frustrated a bit...
Here’s our timeline: ( Family of 3 - 2 adults, 1 minor)
Application received April 15,2019
AOR July 4
Application in process August 15
Test invitations sent on Feb 11, 2020
Test date Feb 29
Now holding my breath and wait!

You have correctly said that sames goes for Scarborough too. My CPC was Mississauga by my case file was shifted to Scarborough. My application was received at NS on 8th Feb 2019, AOR 10 April 2019, IP 16th May 2019, Interview on 5th February, 2020 and officer told me that I will be getting oath invitation between 2 to 8 weeks, but no oath yet. I have seen some applicant who interviewed at Scarborough were given oath date on the following day. There is lot of rush at Scarborough , 9 oath ceremony in one week( 3 oath ceremony in a day and 3 days in a week) even then we are waiting for oath. We have to wait.
