Missed passport submission 30 day deadline. What to do now?

were you allowed PPR extension? And did the VFS accept your passport with even with the original letter that had an expired submission deadline?

Hi! Just send your passport with old PPR. They will accept it. We did same thing no issue. Got passport stamped

However, I just had a newborn and couldn't submit the passport. My husband has already informed IRCC about the situation.

Hi,
I live in canada and my wife lives in her home country. I added her file into my file for PR. Everything is done. I got my PR card. My immigration lawyer got passport submission letter i think that letter was for my wife but there is my name on that letter now she can not book an appointment with vfs. Please help guys if anyone knows what to do now. I already told ircc and ask for new submission letter with my wife’s name on it but Its been more than 2 months

I booked her appointment on 27th June she missed that yesterday.

In an event that you are unable to attend your passport submission appointment at the allotted date and time, you will be blocked from requesting an appointment for 3 calendar days. After 3 calendar days, you may raise a new request which will be served on a first come first serve basis. VFS office

so after 3 days book another one and submit the passport

My wife’s PR got approved last week and she got letter to submit her passport within next 30 days. But my wife’s passport is already with canada embassy in Delhi to print the visitor visa. it has been almost 20 days.

i am worried that they would take more time to print visitor visa on her passport and this might lead to delay and we might might miss deadline to resend the passport for PR.

can somebody help in this situation?
