Yes, that's tough. I've just asked for the second set of GCMS Notes and also sent one more Webform. Let's wait.
The last answer, in December, was like this:
"This application is in queue for review. An exact review schedule is not yet available. However, all applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received.
At the moment, no further action is required on your part.
Please note that our office cannot provide you with an update of case status by email on a regular basis, but rest assured that we will contact you for the next stage of the processing of your file.
Please do not to send your passports until you receive our request letter. You should not make any formal arrangements (such as buying airplane tickets, selling property, etc) to arrive in Canada before you receive confirmation that your application has been approved. Do so only after you have received the visas and letter of Confirmation of Permanent Residence."

I got that exact response to an email i sent out too. You should call CIC! That's over 6 months, you have every reason to call. Mexico office seems very slow and that worries me.
My file has been transferred to Mexico VO even though I was in Mexico only for 4 days.
Anyways I am curious to know is everyone, who has their file sent to Mexico VO, from South America or others have ended up in Mexican VO as well?

Oh Man...mine went there because I put in incorrect year of residence...I was in Mexico only for 4 days but by mistake I put in 1 year and 4 days and CIC thought I was there for an year so makes sense to send file there....lol...

I actually called and they verified it most likely was an oversight but since it's there already will just have to be processed there. But Mexico is just slow

Not enough data to come to a conclusion as such about slowness as Mexico VO has very few Express Entry cases....Mostly family cases there from what I gather...
I think it could pan out either way - we get PPR too soon as not many Express Entry cases or there is a long delay as not enough Visa Officers know about Express Entry processes there....All luck in the end I suppose

Maximum is over 300. Exactly find the average. Also most people don't fill in the visa office slots. However most Brazil applications are sent there and Dominican Republic.
On another note did you inform them of the error? Cause they might ask for Mexican police certificate.
