Medicals expiring soon, shall i re-do it myself or wait for a letter from ircc?

Awaiting ppr, I noticed my medicals will expire on 23rd Dec,
Fall 2020 applicant
Already studying online
Nothing updated on th GC key yet, even the aip isn’t updated on the GC key, applied on 13th March

Wait for IRCC to request. They explicitly clarified on this particular issue in a recent webinar (27th Nov probably). They said if your medical expires while you're waiting for a decision, IRCC will either:

1) Extend the validity of your medicals without informing you, or
2) Ask you to retake your medicals.

So unless you hear from them, you don't need to retake your medicals.
