Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to do medicals after I've submitted my paper-based application for permanent residency under the PNP program, but before I get the AOR.
Because I'm traveling back to my country the nearest CIC-approved physician is quite far from me so I'd rather do them now in Canada while I can. In this case it wouldn't be an upfront medical since I'm not sending it with the application, but I don't have the application number (which I would get with the AOR) yet.
A CIC physician that does medicals in my city accepts upfront medicals using a UCI number but warns "If you already handed in your application to CIC and are waiting for the response, you are not recommended to go for the Medical Exam before you got the reference number. "
Thank you for your help.
Why would someone do this? You've got 18 months waiting ahead, plenty of time.

Did you even bother to read my post? I’m very well aware it is taking 18 months for the whole process and at least 9 months before MR.
Lol I mean won't you be back in Canada these 18 months? Believe me, it doesn't make your progress faster if you do medical now vs. 9 months later.
Just a few days ago.

You don't understand, do you? The reason is not to speed up my process, I know it won't.
just Do whatever you want.
