Hi All,
I am here in Canada since Jan 2010 and my spouse is back in India. we both got our visa stamped on June 2009 and i see the medical validity is only for 1 year in the Visitor visa of my spouse. Please advise if she can travel to Canada in the month on Dec 2010 with the same old multiple entry visa or she has to go for the medicals again to come here.
Thanks.
Bisu
Any advise is highly appreciated!!!

Depends upon the validity of her visa (valid up to date). If she's going to be visiting Canada for 6 months or less, she may not need new medicals.

1. As long as the TRV is valid, she can return to Canada. If she has been in India for 6 months this last trip, she will require a new medical if she is staying in Canada for more than 6 months on her next entry.
Hi PMM,
My wife has never entered Canada, we both got our visa stamped in India and she had to stay back because of our baby's birth. Now that the baby is born I are planning to bring both of them to Canada. Please advise if she has to take new medicals or she can enter Canada during Jan-2011 with her multiple entry visitor Visa which is valid untill may- 2011.
Thanks,
Bisu

Your wife can enter Canada without having new medicals but you would have to apply for a visa for the baby.
