Medical test - IME and upfront medical type

Hi All,

I went for medicals yesterday and post the tests my (main applicant) and my spouse's certificate says:

IME: NON-EDE
Upfront Medical type: Worker

Examinations done:

501 Medical examination
502 Chest X-ray
707 HIV
712 Syphilis Test


Is this right? I remember reading that few people had confusion on IME and upfront medical type.

When I went to the clinic, I got a print out paper with a UME number instead of IME number, the nurse said that people who are doing upfront ME will get UME # instead of IME #

In my medical, I got the UMI number and following detail

IME : EDE
Upfront medical type : family-EDE

I chose the 'worker' category since there was no specific category for EE
and according to previous threads, worker category should be fine?

Non-EDE, Worker is fine. That's what I did, and my medicals passed.

I am expecting nomination from OINP this coming week. Can i take medical test upfront?
I am under FSW category, so under which upfront medical type should i go?
How many days does it take medical report to reach CIC to verify our medical records?
Last question... How many days is the medical report valid?
