Medical Test for Non SDS category

We are a family of 4 with wife applying for Masters and we are trying to accompany her since we have an infant. We are Indian but have been living in the middle east since 10 years . As we are applying for Non SDS, Please advice if we need to do medical in India or in middle east.
Also please advice if the family can accompany the student in non SDS category

The family can apply with the minimum funds but approval is not guaranteed. If children are student age, apply for study permits. If toddlers/infants then show the funds for daycare. Childcare in Canada is very expensive with long waiting lists so assume you would be staying home to care for infant.

Why do you need a medical if you have been living in Middle East for 10 years? What country? You can take medical anywhere listed on the IRCC site.
