Medical - Sputum Sampling and Xray test

Hi,

Today I went for medicals and they asked me to come for next 3 consecutive days in order to give 3 sputum samples (3 consecutive days). Now I am worried what will happen?


I have to repeat my chest x-ray after 3 months and to do a sputum culture for TB.


The second question, what if the things went terrible and I had positive sputum culture, would I be completely denied the visa or would be allowed to take anti-TB and undergo another sputum culture?

Can anyone please confirm!

I had the similar case. There is nothing to worry. Even i did the same thing. The result came out negative and i passed the medical soom after they sent my report again after 3 mnths. Even if ur test comes out positive, u will be allowed to take medications and re do the tests. Which country are u from?

That's a bit relief to me, Well am only worried about delaying process and rejection. Like I am PNP candidate and I am afraid that in all that process my nomination will be expired too, probably I will need to raise request with the province too.

Hopefully all will be sorted out.

I am a pnp too. Once u get ITA ir file is locked. The nomination will not expire now unless u get rejected by cic for some cause. No worries. All the best

same case, IOM Lahore,after sputum results were negative ,they sent me to a chest specialist and once he cleared me up,my meds were passed.
got my Visa now Alhamdulliallh

Approximately 3 months time. Didnt they gave you next date?

Dont worry after second xray you will pass the medical if you dont have symptoms now then stop worrying. Just these 3 months will be added
