Yes you are right. But what about those who have already completed the medicals and LVO did not ask them to pay RPRF? And also no further update. Three months are about to complete within few coming days after medical.
Please help me understand, I am currently under medical furtherance and my result will be updated to CHC on Apr 30th. My current status in EE PROFILE is as shown below. Now my question is: scheduling an interview & A background check is needed saying "Not needed at this time". Is it means CIC do not want to carry out checks & inteview at all? OR they initiate them after they receive my medical test reports?

Based on my experience, scheduling an interview has always been "not needed at this time" even after I got my PPR. While background check has changed from not needed at this time to in progress about 2 weeks before I received my PPR.

From all the posts that I've read here, what I have understood is that applicants will receive a RPRF after their Medical has been received by CIC and once CIC is ready to provide you with their Decision. I too am in the same situation almost. The only difference with me is that the payments and medicals were all done upfront, at the time of the submission of my application to save time. I used a Consulting Firm from Canada to process my paperwork and apply.

Congrats! Can I ask when did your visa office received your passport? What is your vo? Thank you! Do you have an idea if there is any way to check if out passport is finished already? Thanks a lot.
