Medical Problem

We're married last year and we submitted our papers to the CPC and my husband got a reply from CPC that he qualified as a sponsor, we submitted our papers without my medical papers, when my husband told me that he got the letter from CPC I got a laboratory for Hepa and I am HBsAg (Hepa B) positive, will this be a ground for my visa refusal??? what will I do to pass the medical and get a visa despite my problem??? please help me.....thanks to everyone....

It may cause complications or possibly a refusal but I think hep b is treatable? most immigration lawyers will charge a small counseltation fee 50-100$ it may be worth asking them or another professional befor going fruther,there is always the option of your spouse re locating to you as well although that can be difficult but much better than being apart....good luck and best wishes.

PR applicants can be denied if they have a medical condition that places an excessive demand on the healthcare system, however spouses and dependent children are exempt from this clause. This means that spouses and children are excess demand exempt. You can also be denied if you have a medical condition that poses a significant risk to other Canadians. But, my understanding is that hep b is treatable, so I would think that you should be ok but I am not 100% sure. Best of luck to you!

It's not communicable disease but it can definitely transmit through sexual contact and also through blood.

As far as I know Hepa-B stays in your system forever. It can cause chronic complication in your liver.
But there are many medications and health supplements that are available in market these days to make it manageable but it cannot be treated...I I knew one of my friends who was denied for a working permit because of Hepa-B. I hope it wouldn't be a big deal in your case and they will grant you a visa.
