I am married to a naturalized canadian. We have three children born in the Philippines and we will be applying for proof of citizenship for all of them this January. We plan to go to canada to live there. Since we got married here in the Philippines, he would have to sponsor me. My problem is that I am hepa b positive but my sgpt results are normal. My doctor even said that i dont need to take medicines or antiviral drugs. Just monitoring of my sgpt every now and then.
I'm aware that spousal sponsorships are exempted from the excessive demand clause for medical inadmissibility but not on the grounds of danger to canadian public health. I just want to know if there are other spouses out there who were approved and given PR despite of their hepa b status?
Our kids are aged 6y.o, 3y.o and 3 months. We're looking forward to migrate there so we can be reunited as a family.

You may want to see if you can contact one of the senior members called computergeek on this forum as he's a bit of an expert with medical inadmissibility and might be able to help you out.
