Helo folks!! My name is Dhruv from India. Last year on 14 of december 2023 I have done my medical for applying spousal visa for canada and kept my file. Unfortunately it got rejected due to some reasons but again in july 2024 i have re attempted the file. Today I got mail for IRCC to go for medical again. Medical validation is of one year so I have query that whether I have to do whole medical test again or just have to update the date in medical ? And if so then what conversation I have to do with IRCC staff in hospital for medical ?

Your medical is about to expire which is why you have been asked to complete it once again. Yes you need to do the medical again. It is actually in your best interest not to slow down the sponsorship process and allow you time to land in Canada.
