I am wanting to add a medical examination to my IEC working holiday visa to remove the work restrictions.
The My CIC website says if your Conditional Acceptance Letter has expired you can only can change these restrictions with an application "to change your work permit conditions IMM5710E form". This can only be completed while in Canada and is a huge issue because I need a job in my occupation arranged before I come to Canada to secure myself financially.
Can I undergo an upfront medical examination and show a CBSA officer at port of entry to get these restrictions removed?
What would you suggest?
Have tried contacting immigration canada and they did not reply 3 times and is very frustrating.
This isn't the wrong place - your question is just very unique.
If you were in Canada and already had your IEC, I would tell you to do the medical, wait around three weeks - then flagpole at a US/Canada land border crossing to change the conditions on your work permit.
