I am getting an upfront medical exam in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for a work permit extension/Perm residency. The lady informed me the exam is $330. Does this sound right? I got one in South Korea 4 years ago and it was about $150, and one 3 years ago in St. Catharines and I am sure it was no more than $200.
I'm in Vancouver, BC and just spent $250. Call around to all the ones in your area (you can find a list on CIC) - the prices DO vary by doctor! I found the price to be anywhere from $250-$350.
When we were looking for one we found prices varying from 200-500. I'm not sure of the area but where I am that was around the normal price in Ontario.
Wow feel ripped off, very cheap in Canada, I am Canadian myself and here in the UK, sent my wife and son to do their medicals which cost £580, canadian conversion approx.. $1100 total for 2, what a rip off
My husband had his done in Kitchener and it cost us $190.00,yet my step son had his done in the U.K. and it cost us 300.00 pounds which is about $500.00.

Yeah that's about the going rate for the UK, unfortunately. As I said, my husband paid I think it was £280 for his, but we were also in central London and it wasn't going to be worth it to drive somewhere outside of London... by the time we hired a car or paid for train tickets, it wouldn't've been any cheaper!
Wife did hers in Toronto several years ago for around $180 total. Depends on how many panel physicians are in your area. The more there are, the more price competition so you get for cheaper. If only 1 panel physician supporting a large area, they know it's your only choice so can jack up their prices.
