Hi pals please advise for below:

My mother has received medical evaluation few days ago (second medical request) which has now been rectified/done and dispatched after confirming the report is ok.

Can any one please advise what sort of additional delay (in terms of time) this will cause in the passport request.

My mother is now in India, previously she was at Australia on tourist visa where her first medicals was done.

Also please advise if I need to send her Australia's visit "policy clearance" (I got in hand for her 8 months visit as a back up in case CIC wants). I have already send the scanned copy to CIC New Delhi and CIC Ontario. So my question is should I send the hard copy as well, if so then to which address. Please note: no one from CIC has requested police clearance yet, but I have done for my own, just to save time in case CIC asks for.

Your reply / advise is highly appreciated.

Re: Medical evaluation: what is the delay?

The doctor that did the medical should have sent the report to the regional medical officer's office. Your VO will then contact that office directly to get the results. They usually don't tell you anything about the medicals, and ecas is not the greatest at updating it on your file online. Basically you just have to be patient! Police checks - good you have them done because you will def need them to complete your file. When they do not have a complete package from you -i.e. they are missing some documents or are requesting additional documents, it adds months to your processing time. unfortunate, but it's the reality of how they do things. good luck!

Re: Medical evaluation: what is the delay?

Thanks steph816 for your valuable suggestions.

Our Australian police clearance expires on 4th may 2013 (being 90 days validity) and my mother has yet no plans to visit again to Australia.

So my question is wouldn't this police clearance certificate expire if not requested by visa office before 4 may 2013.. Or should I send them anyway without asking to visa office New Delhi with covering letter of all her FILE and UCI NUMBERS.

if so what will be the correct address of New Delhi visa office OR kindly correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks once again for your time.
