Hello All,

Below is the status of my file
1. Applied for JAN-21 Intake on 07-DEC-2020
2. Biometrics: 06-JAN-2021
3. Medical Updated: 28-JAN-2021
4. AIP received: 02-FEB-2021( they just mentioned that they have processed my file to the next level and I may start my online classes.) Apparently, I have deferred to the MAY-2021 intake.
5. No response afterwards......???

I think we are in same boat and received confirmation email of my web form on feb 14th stating that they received my web form and documents are now submitted to visa officer no updates after that

Applied on Dec 5th for Jan 2021 intake with upfront medical
Received biometric request on Dec 7th
Submitted biometric on Jan 5th
Medical pass on Jan 19th
Send web form with May 2021 intake on Jan 20th
Eligibility status change to review on Jan 19th
Received AIP on Jan 29th
Received email about web form on Feb 14.

Any one have any idea how long it will take for final decision and chances of visa approval as I my visa was rejected one time prior to this.

Hi,
I applied for Visa for May 2021 intake on 21st Nov, submitted PCC, IME, IELTS etc...while applying. I got my BVL three days after applying (24th Nov), completed my Biometrics on 8th Dec, now waiting for a decision to be made. Does anyone knows how long it can take to get a decision?

Is BVL and biomatric collection letter is same or different document?

My brother has applied last week and going for biometric tomorrow (Fab23)

He has applied for May 2021 .
Online it shows 9-10 week is processing time.
Will he get decision on his file before May 2021 or not ?

Is BVL and biomatric collection letter is same or different document?

BIL, biometrics instruction letter, is the one you usually recieve within a day of submitting your application and is used to give your biometrics.

BVL, biometrics validation letter, is usually the last step before getting your passport request.

Update: I called the IRCC yesterday and the agent told me that my file is in last stage and just now I received my BVL

Sure..!!! dial this number on hangouts +12049833500. this will connect you to CBSA(Canada boarder service agency). Ask them to connect you to IRCC. Try to call around 7:55 EST and you might need to wait for 5-10 min as office open at 8:00 EST

I applied in December of 2020 for May 2021 intake. Still waiting on some response. I applied from the USA. I'm not sure if that matters.
