Today morning 8.30 EST, I saw a ghost update on my application.. but when I see inside, nothing has changed. B/G says N/A still ...

Then I called CIC, the agent said, everything is done except security. Security is now in progress. When I again asked how about eligibility, he said when security is passed, everything will be passed. he did not mention specifically that Eligibility is passed.

I do not know what's going .. Fingers crossed. Waiting

That's great man because i have read that visa officer approves eligibility & then initiates security check.You are on your way man, happy for you

But poeple's B/G statuses change when there is an update. But mine is still N/A even after the update..

These status are not reliable,only thing reliable is gcms & call agent already told you about th3 stage. So all should be good

Having ghost update is good thing,meaning they are working on your file. Your notes in upcoming few days will make it clear picture,otherwise call cic & ask straight which stages have been passed & pending.

Called today and lady said check is complete but can't tell when they will terminate application....Getting worried as she said TERMINATE....Hoping for approval though.........

When they are rude, don't trust their words. If everything is passed then no reason for rejection & if it was case like that then would have done it right away. VO don't sit & wait to reject,they will right away if anything is wrong or incomplete

A 2 week before I sent an email to CPC Ottawa about my visa file location again ..I had sent them before in Sep somewhere ....and I got my reply after a week on last wednesday said "Your applcation is being processed in Ottawa"...nothing else as in my first email I got reply as we can not confirm....and you are in regulatory timeline etc etc....and on same day when I received reply I also called call centre guy and he said me everything is under process ...eligibility and all....

I am not sure just guessing that my 2nd email was a reason to pick up my application in receiving blank update.....

If you wish you can try....its just my guess....

I have sent them emails but it hasn't helped yet. Anyways hope for the best man!

CEC inland

AOR: 3 May
Medical passed: 26 May
ADR: 15 Aug (police check from home country, which normally takes 4-6 weeks)
Additional document received: 4 Oct (called in to confirm it was received as home country sent it directly to ircc)
Raise CSE on 11 Oct to provide new medical result for my spouse as ircc website it was only valid for 12 months so I thought it would be better to redo another one)
CSE responded on 19 Oct saying document has been received and forwarded to responsible office

ADR has been showing "the additional document you provided are being reviewed" since 16 Oct and "We are processing you background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" since 26 May.

Called in today again to ask about the status and the agent only said they are still doing background check and it has only been 2-3 weeks since they received additional document so it's gonna take a while. Couldn't provide me with more information.

The wait is killing me...I don't even know if I'm at ip1 or ip2. Or if someone is actually looking at my application or it's just sitting there and no officer cares...
