Just an update!

We have received the Ready for Visa email. We have one month time to submit our passports. Medical redo request is definitely a positive sign..

Its yet to sink in though :-D

AOR : May 26th,2017
FSW
IP2 : Aug 2nd,2017
Medical Redo Request : 26th April, 2018
PPR : Letter dated 15th May,2018 but received on 16th May, 2018 8:12AM IST

What page no is it on? I didn't see any due dates related to medical

Its on page 47 under MEDICAL

I do not think the date has any significance. From my notes its a date the visa officer sets for the next review.

My Medicals expired on 4th April 2018 and the Medical due date is listed as 4th Aug 2018 in GCMS. From what I understand is that they may only look into this and ask for a remedical in Aug if at all they care to look at my file

I can only speculate that your file may be with CBSA, so when they send it back to IRCC (It could be before August) then they will instruct you on what to do about the medicals.
I am in the same shoes remember and thats more or less what is happening in my case.

Yes security check. So CBSA asks CSIS to do part of it. So hence the long delay.

Wow. I didn't know they could be this slow Why do they keep doing these monthly ITAs when they cannot keep pace with existing applications

I think many of us still left. Not sure if mine is in security screening since my medicals expired in the 1st week of April and I have no updates at all.

Hey not sure if this will help.

We just received our GCMS notes . It has a due date in the Application Assignment on Page 2. This due date is 2018/04/25. We were reuqested for a Medical Redo on 2018/04/26.

So I feel maybe that due date has some significance in the sense the officer finishes reviewing our application on that due date.
