There has been no update for me since Oct 3. All steps complete except for decision. It is still in progress. I have heard many people waiting on in this state for even more than 6 months. I'm really anxious now. My husband applied in April and he is a citizen now. I applied in May and my processing time seems to be longer than his (though i understand it is different for each one of us). Any insights into what might be causing this delay ?

Thanks,

Waiting for oath invite from Niagara Falls office as far as I have been told by my Local MP when I contacted them, initially on the letter it was stated that Sydney NS is my processing office. I have been waiting for Oath since July 16 everything else has been approved and turned green, any suggestions? I am fed up and have tried all the methods to reach these people out, finally joined this group today for any possible way out/recommendation??????

@hssrp My oath ceremony is scheduled for Nov 22 on my tracker. Updated Oct 24. No email yet though.

I have international travel scheduled for Nov 16. I am reaching out to eh NGF office to request a preponement of the oath ceremony. Hopefully it works. Is it reasonable to expect Passport with Express processing to be in my hand in 10 days from the Oath if say, they move the oath to Nov 1 or thereabouts?

With express processing you can expect 9-10 business days. However, if you need your passport sooner and have a flight ticket already booked which you can present during your application and apply for urgent pick-up you can get your passport by the next business day.

Congratulations!! You can definitely try to prepone the oath, but usually they only postpone if you are unavailable.
