The current processing dates on IRCC website is about ~10 days for AOR, not sure what they are doing for 2.5 months. Try submitting webform as well and see if they can check and also when you call, ask them for the application number if they can share.
So I have called them today and did not receive much information other than my temporary application number. They did say that the file is being reviewed at primary office CPC-Sydney, nova scotia. But I have applied from Calgary. She says there is no indication of any missing documentation or information for now. I cannot make anything out of this.

I can totally understand your situation, but unfortunately we have no other option than to wait, I wish I could help you. You can try reaching out to your local MP to see if they can reach out to IRCC as they have taken almost 3 months and still even an AOR is not issued when their published timeline is 7-10 days for AOR.

You can do some research on this, but I think you will have to first withdraw the current application and then submit a new one else they might return the duplicate application.
The citizenship test status was changed to completed on July 30.
I took the fingerprints on August 2, and the Commissionaires said that it would take about 2 weeks to deliver the result to IRCC.

Did you get the FP request from Vancouver office? If so, it will take them 4-5 weeks from FP date to receive it and update it in the system. RCMP sends them in 2 weeks like what you were told, but it is send via Canada post so takes about a week to reach and then IRCC takes 1-2 weeks to open the mail and update it in the system.

In regards to Parents application. do we expect there would be no test invite since they are both above 65 ? and its been exactly 2 months and no updates so far,
tracker just shows everything is "In progress" except citizenship test and ceremony "not started"
