Finally I got a new invite to the ceremony. It's scheduled to January 14, 2025. I haven't received the email, so I don't if it's going to be online or not.

I was told everything would be sent electronically via email so it would be fine but I’m seeing lots of people moving forward so much faster than mine so I thought I’d ask peoples opinion

Since your background check is still in progress, it is most likely pending for security clearance from CSIS. Unfortunately, those who are stuck in security check take sometime to clear it due to the huge backlog at CSIS. You can call IRCC and specifically ask if your security check is in-progress or completed. At this point, there is noting much you can do about it other than patiently waiting.
