I had applied for citizenship on May 2023 and as per my online application status last update was on july 31, 2023 with my background and citizenship test completed. I got a ghost update on october 2023 and then another ghost update on may 8, 2024. I called up ircc and an agent told me that LPP is also done and they are just waiting to schedule the oath ceremony. When I asked for a timeline, he just told me to wait. From October 2023 till few days ago, I had contacted my MP many times but was of no use as his office simply provides me the update that I can see online. What I learnt is that we need to wait while they decide to shower their blessings on our application. Nothing else we can do. I am just waiting to get my e-cert and passport to be done once and for all with IRCC. Not sure how long to wait, anyways we cannot do anything about this. So keep on waiting..........
100% agree. I wish there was something we could do about this. I have been stuck on the security clearance for almost a YEAR!!! I haven't had a real update since July of 2023 lol
Who knows what they are doing, how long it takes, etc. This is truly unacceptable specially since there is no transparency. This to me screams either inefficiency and/or incompetency. It is too late for us, but hopefully this will change somehow...
You are right ! Yesterday i got a Ghost update and today I see my citizenship ceremony is in process and scheduled for oath on June 14 I still haven't received the email with instructions. Finally after exactly 12 months of process. Good luck everyone,
Finally after getting the ghost update on May 8, 2024. Everything turned green today May 31, 2024 except ceremony. Hoping to get the ceremony email soon. Fingers crossed!

Did you try calling ircc agents(+1-888-242-2100) and check with them? They might be able to put in some notes which might trigger some officer to look into your application.

@vmax12 I just noticed the below in citizenship ceremony page. You might want to call them up if you have not received the ceremony email by June 7, 2024. Mine is on June 20, so I still have time.
If the “Citizenship ceremony” section of the citizenship status tracker has an “In progress” status, it means we
are in the process of scheduling your ceremony
will send you the invitation at least 1 week before the ceremony date
