I read on the interwebs that having an entry with 'Security' means that your files are sent to CBSA and CSIS for security screening, which might take a long time. For me, this entry did not appear until IRCC acknowledged receving my CV. I assume if I were ruled low risk, they would have passed my background check by now, so I'm probably in for further screening. I guess I'll have to order CBSA notes in a few months to be sure.
Thanks for this! Good to know that you also have an entry with 'Security', much needed copium for me, even though mine has actStatus 17, but I'm gonna assume it just means in progress.
PS: The 'INITIAL' key was already there when BG and Eligibility was still In Progress. Now it seems to have a new data that matches the completion date of Medicals and Security
This is from inspect element and looking at objects. This is weird from a data perspective because I don't know why would IRCC throw data to an UI that it has no intentions of displaying in a UI.

Well technically it did display it: tracker told me that my background verification status has been changed to "in progress", from "in progress"
I also wonder why they wouldn't just put stuff like ciminality/info-sharing/VO on tracker since one could have easiler got this information by calling them. Maybe bureaucracy and not enough people.

Who knows, maybe there's an requirement document in place for adding additional sedctions to the tracker but will need the approval of 20+ stakeholders.
