OMG can’t believe my LPP’s completed. Tracker updated on June 26th. So I’ll just need to wait another 10 years for the oath now. Vancouver office finally back to their work spot

June 21, 2023: Ghost Update
Jun 19, 2023: Background verification status has been updated to Completed.

BUT my LPP is still in "Progress" and my status says Updated:June 21, 2023 while only background completed in Jun 19, 2023. What's this ghost update?


Jan 6, 2023: Citizenship test status has been updated to Completed.
May 26, 2022: Application filed

If its any indication you might get your LPP completed soon.

Tracker is usually delayed 48-72h compared to GCMS. So your Jun 19th update actually showed up on Jun 21st. So, June 21st "Updated" is not actually a ghost update

I got a ghost update on Dec.3 which was exactly 2 days after my bg completed too. Don’t know what that might indicate, but I waited till June 26 to get my LPP done Lol

Things seem to be stuck for a while now...

Citizenship test completed: Dec 9th 2022 (invited Nov. 8, 2023)
Fingerprints requested: Match 1, 2023
Fingerprint were delivered: March 14, 2023 (never received a confirmation from IRCC that they've been received - only courier service says "delivered")
LPP completed: in progress (until now)

last profile "ghost" update was April 15, 2023.... until now everything is "in progress" on test is marked completed.
Any similar case here?

Something weird just happened. I logged in to my account and saw that my oath ceremony date has changed from July 13 to July 19. The tracker was updated July 1st. Seems Vancouver office is at it again.

Hello everyone,
I saw an update on my citizenship tracker that my oath ceremony has been scheduled but I did. It receive an email notification. My path is scheduled for July 5th but I haven’t received any email notification confirming this and instructions of the ceremony. I called IRCC and they advised it would probably be rescheduled for another date. Has anyone else experienced this before, do you know what I can do?

This is my first post, but I would like to thank everyone within these Thread for sharing their Citizenship experience.
I would like to wish everyone who is still waiting all the best and I know the radio silence can be frustrating, and also to see others who applied after you receiving updates and progress, but please keep the faith as your time is coming soon. I hope my timeline can be of some help to others.
