Background done on Nov8
Test done on Dec 22
Test completed updated on Dec 24
No updates since then is it normal I haven't got any letter regarding biometrics yet I don't know if we need biometrics for citizenship or not.

Fingerprints are request for few selected applicants, so not necessary you will get one special you have done Test, so very rare chances to get FP request. hang on tight you should get Oath request in couple of weeks

Mine came from Calgary location too instead of Vancouver. Can you check the last page of document and let me know what it shows as your location? Mine says 'The Oath of Citizenship was taken before a Citizenship Judge. at 'Calgary, AB'. Isn't it should say 'Vancouver, BC'?

I do believe they are trying to expedite the process by re-distributing the case load. Is some sort of load balancing thing they are doing, is what I take. My wife's email came also from Calgary and we are Vancouver office.

I do not believe that is a true statement these days. My wife's oath is Mar/29th and she's received the email with instructions today. So 2 weeks or 7 days does not apply anymore. It may for some but not for all and therefore is not a rule perse

My application portal tells me my oath is on March 3rd, 2023 (updated on Feb 23rd, 2023). It is 5 working days from now and I have not received any email/invitation letter. Is this common? Do I need to worry/do something about it? Any suggestion would be welcomed. thanks.

Can you check last page of document? It is the page that needs to be signed after oath.

Does it says 'Calgary, AB' in your document too?

Yes it’s Calgary,AB
I think it doesn’t matter which office administers the oath. Have seen a few posts where the applicant was from Vancouver but oath came from MBSK - which is the Winnipeg office.

Which is your office? I mailed the office which sent me test invite and also their ceremony email id (found it after searching this forum for hours lol) . But then they mentioned that my file was under missisauga office for oath . I requested them for missisauga ‘s email id, so they forwarded our email trail to missisauga office on friday. I received my email tonight.
I heard missisauaga office triggers all these emails over the weekend so will suggest send that email to test office and wait till monday. You will get some info by then
