Still way better than Vancouver. I've been on a queue waiting for oath scheduling for 4months. They said they're attending to others that were affected by the strike.
Guys,
My LPP turned green a month ago, Niagara office, today I received an email with an attached letter from the Citizenship Registrar sayas : Please find the instructions to download your electronic Canadian Citizenship Certificate (e-Certificate) in the attached document.
Is that an indication of the upcoming Oath? anyone has a similar experience with this letter?

I applied March 2022 and only just got invited for the test which I wrote a few days ago and passed. I was not in the country and got approval to write the test outside Canada.
However, I got an email asking me whether I am back in the country (I am not) and if the answer is "No", I should send proof of my departure from Canada a (I left a month ago and happy to send them the flight ticket. I was also asked to send every page of my current passport.
Question - do I absolutely have to fly back into Canada to respond to the email? Also, I am unsure when I will be back (probably in another month), would that mean that the process cannot move ahead (after having sent the evidence) simply because I am not able to type "Yes" to currently being in the country.

Thank you for your response. To be clear, you are saying it would be best for me to fly back into Canada just to be able to respond "Yes" right? And if I say "No" and showed them the ticket and boarding pass that I left Canada a month ago, they will put the application on hold? Thanks for your anticipated response!

I am not sure how your coming and going back will impact the application processing. You may even have to face interview. It could be virtual or in-person. Personally I feel if you don't have plans to be in Canada for a long time till your oath is scheduled, it will be a tricky situation to be in.
