Hi all,
Just a quick update that all milestones in my tracker are now showing as complete with the exception of the citizenship ceremony which is "not started". Looks like things are moving along slowly but surely. Next step: oath invite. Hopefully that comes before summer. I am based in Calgary. Paper applicant.

Hello any update at your end? did you get invitation?

nothing yet unfortunately. are you applying from alberta as well ? from what i can see the invitation to take oath usually happens within 4 weeks of decision made so i am hoping it all happens this month for me. will update the forum when i have an update. good luck on your end.

My ex-coworker applied in 2020. She just received the invitation for her Oath. (Montreal office, paper application). I have another coworker who applied in 2020 and still waiting…
it makes me realize that are still people from 2020 waiting… meanwhile we are complaining about the wait lol

I never wrote in the forum, I was just observing the comments from Y'all patient people.

But after months of waiting.. they finally sent me an update. This is my Timeline.

May 30, 2021 - Application filed – Single, Online, GTA

07Sep2021 – Application received.

Jan 27, 2022 - Citizenship test activity status updated

Feb 7, 2022 – Test given & updated same day

May 03, 2022 – Everything updated to completed

May 04, 2022 – Oath ceremony update

May 18, 2022 – Oath ceremony (waiting on the details email)

I was never asked to give fingerprints, I hope they dont going forward. And yes there is a good chance that people get fingerprint request just before oath ceremony. My friend got finger prints request twice.
