I heard they give online/digital oath certificates now. Anyone know more about that and how to select that option?

I had created online profile to find about that. It was not very clear however it seems that online option is, if we apply for a copy of certificate & if we opt for online certificate at the time of application.

There is no such thing as an online citizenship certificate. I don’t know who made this shit up.

anyone tried to email the local citizenship office (such as montreal or other cities ) and got any positive outcome ? im under the impression they will just ignore or send a generic response ! any thoughts ?

Also to add, the citizenship certificate / copy of citizenship certificate is a 8½ x 11 paper certificate.
I haven't yet seen anything about a Digital copy of the citizenship certificate on the IRCC website.

Every time I see the mention of an “online” certificate” I cringe . Good f*cking grief
If anyone has concrete proof that this mystical unicorn exists, I will humbly apologize

I see it. Mine has that too. I don’t think this is too relevant. I’m more intrigued by the due dates written in my notes! Most of the due dates are due to August.
except for the due datefor the fingerprints request. Due date was for November 2021, CPC Sydney requested in January but Montreal’s office only sent me the email by end of march

Ok, so, in the April 2021 thread, more and more get Decision Made in the old ecas while nothing is updated in the new one. As May is around the corner, can we agree to advise if any of us go through the same thing in the next few weeks? At this stage, any update on our files would be helpful )

i just checked and it says decision made in old ecas but in progress in the new one ! i heard in different forums that the new ecas is not updating for some reason !

I see a lot of people claiming that they're seeing a lot of updates in the old ecas system that aren't visible in the online tracker. Is the old ecas even accessible to online applicants? Can someone please provide a link?
